LEARN THE METHOD. MAKE IT YOURS.

Understand how to solve.
Then practise with purpose.

Build a clear approach to Verbal, Numerical and Abstract Reasoning, from the foundations to practical application. Discover the strategies, work through complete examples and learn to recognise the traps behind tempting answers.

Each explanation helps you see why an answer is correct and how to improve your own reasoning. Study independently, revisit difficult topics and develop a more consistent approach under time pressure.

Full verbal test · Sections 4.5–4.6 · Complete numerical set · Four abstract examples · Solutions included
01 / VERBAL REASONING

Read beyond familiar words.

Chapters 2–3 explain how to evaluate every claim against the passage. You practise distinguishing a necessary conclusion from a plausible assumption, preserving conditions and time frames, and rejecting options that are only partly correct.

The sample includes a complete 10-question verbal test, followed by answer explanations, distractor analysis and EPSO tips.

02 / NUMERICAL REASONING

Turn data into a clear calculation.

Chapters 4–6 cover ratios, proportions, percentages, per-capita figures, speed, exchange rates and unit conversions. Worked examples show how to choose relevant figures, translate the question into a mathematical relationship and check the result.

The new sample includes the complete sections 4.5 and 4.6, their worked examples, mini test and solutions, plus the complete Exercise Set 1 from Chapter 5 with its worked solutions.

03 / ABSTRACT REASONING

Follow every rule, not just one.

Chapters 7–8 develop a systematic observation process: inspect number, position, orientation, size, shape and shading. Explore movement, rotation, reflection, addition and removal, indicators and combined operations.

The new sample includes four complete examples from Chapter 8 (Questions 1–4), with every page of their solutions and explanations.

A clear route through eight chapters.
