EPSO AD5 November 2026: Intensive Reasoning Skills Preparation in Your EU Language

According to EPSO’s latest update, the first testing phase—verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning—is planned to begin in November 2026. Candidates will receive information about their testing week through the Single Candidate Portal approximately three weeks before the first session.Study Community’s intensive Reasoning Skills programme is designed to help candidates turn the time before their exam into structured practice. Three tests. One focused preparation plan.

The first AD5 testing phase covers:

• Verbal reasoning: reading precisely and distinguishing what a passage states from what an answer merely suggests.
• Numerical reasoning: interpreting data, selecting an efficient calculation and working accurately under time pressure.
• Abstract reasoning: identifying relationships and changes across sequences of figures.

To progress to the second phase, candidates must score at least 10/20 in verbal reasoning and 10/20 across numerical and abstract reasoning combined. These are separate requirements, so effective preparation needs to address all three tests.
